Topic: Introduction to AI Research and Basics of Deep Learning

This lesson introduced the format of lessons for the winter 2021 semester, briefly introducing the topics to be presented in the coming weeks. We then gave a high-level overview of neural networks, which form the basis of deep learning and drive much of AI research today.
