Prof. Laird discussed cognitive architecture - more specifically, he discussed SOAR, a cognitive architecture that his research group has been developing and maintaining for decades. SOAR is simultaneously a theory of cognition and an architecture, with the ultimate goal of enabling general intelligent agents to realize the full cognitive capabilities of humans.
